Happy New…it’s February!

Holy veggie cow.  It’s been a while.

That being said, let’s move on!  I’ve been spending my time making a few new recipes from The Joy of Cooking 75th Anniversary Edition, a most wonderful holiday present from Samantha.  I made a delicious potato stuffing for my family’s holiday celebration, and it was delicious!

A vegan friend of mine gave me another cookbook as well, which she claims to be full of the best dishes around.

Vegan with a Vengeance promises to be full of great new recipes for me to try.  The friend who gave me this book made the vegan version of a cream-filled Hostess cupcake, and my, it was delightful.  I’ve also tried 2 new Chinese restaurants in the past couple months that have wheat gluten vegetarian meats, and have pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food has been.

So while all of this is great and exciting, it’s no reason to not post.  I don’t have any fabulous pictures of these new delicious foods, or of anyone I know enjoying them, so you’ll have to just believe me.  I hope that you are all having a delicious new year!

Oh, and I’m hopelessly addiction to Trader Joe’s Organic Creamy Tomato Soup after trying a sample of it at their store a couple of weeks ago.  I really enjoy tomato soup, and their version is the best I’ve ever had!  Super creamy and a little sweet, you have to try it!
